Cricket or cabbages?

The good news is that work on both these projects is due to start this month and should be finished by the end of the year.

The south west of Sheffield has a waiting list of 878 for an allotment (July figures), more than a third of the total for the whole of the city. So it is good to be able to increase provision to meet some of this demand.

The Totley Bents pavilion is another project with significant community support and fundraising. I’m pleased that the South West Community Assembly was able to top this up to enable the project to go ahead.
